The Pokémon Company International Cloud Infrastructure Engineer in Bellevue, Washington
The Pokémon Company International, Inc. is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for its Bellevue, Washington office.
Job Duties: Plan, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure in support of business objectives. Support existing cloud-based systems, applications, and infrastructure. Assess cloud infrastructure needs of departments and vendors. Design cloud infrastructure to ensure applications and services will be highly available, reliable, and scalable, while providing a high-quality experience for end users. Plan, implement, and manage Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure. Audit, review, and report on operational and security status of cloud environment. Establish, manage, and maintain monitoring platforms and alerts. Create IT cloud infrastructure performance reports and dashboards. Troubleshoot IT cloud infrastructure technologies. Secure IT cloud environment while working closely with Information Security. Document the design, operation, and troubleshooting of cloud platforms and procedures. Manage and maintain disaster recovery and backup services.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, plus two years of experience in: AWS services including EC2, S3, Route53, VPC, AWS Backup, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, and EBS; Infrastructure-as-Code using tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform; Designing and building server environments in AWS; AWS network connectivity, virtual private networks (VPN), and Border Gateway Protocol (BGP); and Troubleshooting IT cloud infrastructure technologies.
Salary range: $135,000 - $152,000. Benefits: PTO, Health Insurance, Dental/Vision and Commuter Benefits, Paid family leave, Employer-paid life insurance and long/short-term income protection insurance, and 401k Employer Match.
