Job Duties: Responsible for capturing customer requirements, translating them into functional specifications, business requirement document and configuration guides, and verifying deployment of Edifecs products. Define business rules, translation rules and other configuration items for installation of Edifecs software to meet business needs. Guide client business and technical teams in defining requirements, translating requirements into functional specifications, and assisting during implementation. Develop use cases and acceptance criteria for transactions and execute use cases when required. Manage project deliverables and timelines as a project manager when required. Deliver product training to new clients. Conduct reviews of functional implementation and guide others. Create reusable templates and materials over the course of implementations and contribute to knowledge base. Work with Product Technical Support and Development teams when resolving customer or internal product issues. Ensure quality of a complete product by being involved from inception through release phases of the development life cycle. Serve as domain and functional expert for customer and internal teams. Must be willing to travel as needed approximately 80%. No international travel. Telecommuting available.
Job Requirements: Bachelors degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field, plus 3 years of experience as a business analyst or implementation consultant in the healthcare industry, including:
- 3 years of experience interpreting requirements and developing functional specifications;
- 3 years of experience utilizing problem analysis skills, problem-solving skills, and analytical skills;
- 3 years of experience working with Healthcare EDI transactions including HL7, HIPAA, and NCPDP;
- 3 years of experience testing and test planning of large enterprise systems;
- 3 years of experience leading/managing teams;
- 1 year of experience in business process analysis, mapping projects related to ICD-10 migration; and
- 1 year of experience applying knowledge of functional areas impacted by ICD-10 migration and defining custom solutions for ICD-10 clients.
Experience may be gained concurrently.
Note: The expected base pay range for this position is $115,245 - $120,245 per year. Base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, education, and experience.
