The Associate System Reliability Engineer follows mentorship while learning to assist with improving and safeguarding the software and systems supporting T-Mobile's IT services. This includes managing scalability, availability, latency, performance, security, capacity, and optimizing the delivery of software to be faster, more efficient, and cost-effective. Responsibilities range from analyzing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to supporting the development of T-Mobile's next-generation applications on cloud-native platforms. This role contributes to outstanding customer experiences and drives product innovation through the continuous improvement of operational support processes. Job Responsibilities: Uses base level understanding of emerging DevOps-centric automation tools and technologies for CICD, configuration management, etc. for non-prod environments. Applies software to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of T-Mobile's services. Uses dashboards for continuous monitoring and health check of applications, and the underlying infrastructure, improve the quality of services using the monitoring feedback for non-production environment. Develops and prepares data for dashboard views Education: Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (Required) Work Experience: 0-2+ years Systems Reliability Engineering (Required) Experience working in Agile and DevOps environment. (Preferred) Experience in Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery tools, such as, Jenkins, Cloudbees, etc., and other automation tools. (Required) Experience with DevOps tools, such as, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc. Experience in Docker, Kubernetes, etc. is preferable. (Required) Experience in APM tools, such as AppDynamics, Grafana, etc. Data mining tools such as Splunk. (Required) Experience working in a cloud environment (public/private). (Required) Experience in migrating to cloud or cloud native environment experience is preferable. (Required) Experience in one or more of: C, C#, Java, Perl, Python, Go, or scripting experience in Shell and Perl.
