Associate Director of Financial Aid Job ID: 13078 Location: Bellevue College Full/Part Time: Full Time Regular/Temporary: Regular Position Summary The Associate Director of Financial Aid is an exempt position that works under general direction, reports to the Director of Financial Aid & Veteran Services, and is a member of the Student Central Leadership Team. This position supports and assists the Director in the administration of programs that make up federal, state, and local campus-based aid. The Associate Director also works in collaboration with the leadership team and has responsibility for understanding the policies, and performing the functions related to the departments included in Student Central, and for the development of new procedures, policies, and training related to work and operation of Student Central. A critical function of this position is to organize and direct the Financial Aid Office daily operations, supervise and train full and part-time staff and student employees, and assist other departments on campus to resolve problems and issues related to students and procedures. The work is managerial in nature and performs highly complex work related to the administration of the Financial Aid Office as a whole. This position operates at a fully-qualified level with an ability to work independently and in accordance with federal, state and college regulations, rules and policies. This position allows telecommuting two (2) days per week. This is subject to change based on the needs of the department and the college.
