Get started!Requisition SummaryProvide procurement and supervisory leadership for Aftermarket Purchasing Commodity Managers. The ideal candidate is ambitious, self-managing, well organized, an effective negotiator and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities. Said candidate works well with counterparts in Marketing, Materials and OE Purchasing and is confident in representing Aftermarket Purchasing to all levels of management.Job Functions / ResponsibilitiesSupervise, train and develop Commodity Managers in support of negotiations, contract administration and Aftermarket Purchasing goal achievement.Supervise, train and develop the Purchasing Data Analyst in support of the Purchasing team.When appropriate take the negotiating lead in business critical contracts or cost increase requests.Work with management to determine group goals relating to cost savings, lead-time reduction, on-time shipment and key business initiatives. Oversee Aftermarket Purchasing cost management progression and goal attainment.Lead initiatives to improve processes that improve Commodity Manager efficiency in managing RFQs, rebates and PO discrepancies.Ability to present key Aftermarket Purchasing topics and initiatives to all levels of management.Confidently manage and lead the team of Commodity Managers and Data Analyst through dynamic situations. QualificationsFive or more years of purchasing, related and / or PACCAR experienceStrong negotiation skills, ability to facilitate global supplier interface.Supervisory experience, team oriented, proven management abilities, positive leadership qualities.Excellent organizational and analytical skills, strong interpersonal skills.Creative, quality and results-driven work ethic.Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, & presentation.Degree in Business Administration, Purchasing, Finance, Engineering or related field.Masters or MBA preferred.Additional Job Board InformationPACCAR is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veteran/Disability.
