Description

We are in search of an AP/AR Clerk to join our team located in Bellevue, Washington, United States. The role involves an essential contribution to our accounting operations across a diverse range of companies and properties. The AP/AR Clerk will handle a broad spectrum of accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management of accounts payable and receivable for multiple entities.

• Carry out bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial statements.

• Handle the processing of accounts payable and receivable transactions to maintain financial stability.

• Prepare and post journal entries to keep accounting records up-to-date.

• Assist in the execution of month-end and year-end closing procedures to ensure timely financial reporting.

• Collaborate on various projects with the Accounting Manager to achieve departmental objectives.

• Utilize accounting software systems to streamline accounting functions.

• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

• Oversee billing functions to ensure accurate invoicing and payment collection.

• Maintain and update the general ledger to reflect accurate financial transactions.

The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000.

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding and Accounting Software Systems

• Knowledge of Accounting Functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Auditing and Billing Functions

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with the General Ledger

• Capability to prepare Journal Entries

• Experience in Month End Close and Year End Closings

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Computer literacy, specifically in Microsoft Office Suite

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred

• Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous.
