Veolia North America Aftermarket Sales Coordinator - Thermal Products in Bellevue, Washington

Company Description

Part of Veolia Group, Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions brings together experienced professionals in pursuit of the same goal: to solve the toughest water, wastewater and process challenges around the globe. We're always looking for passionate and creative people to help us in this mission!

Job Description

Aftermarket Sales (AMS) supports our clients and our extensive installed base by selecting and purchasing critical parts, replacement equipment and wear items for Evaporator and Crystallizer systems. Aftermarket Sales works within a larger NAM Sales organization to connect with clients and assess needs. They own wing-to-wing selection, purchase and delivery of equipment, exhibiting a high degree of engineered system knowledge along with ability to work within our Purchasing department.

Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions (VWTS) is a worldwide leader in water recovery, treatment and reuse. We design and supply a range of water systems, from food and beverage applications, to municipal water, to microelectronics ultrapure water and heavy industrial wastewater treatment.

This role focuses on our portfolio of evaporation equipment, which includes Falling Film Evaporators, Forced Circulation Crystallizers, and related Zero Liquid Discharge systems. This is specialized equipment engineered for each customer and application, and systems are a combination of custom fabricated equipment; unique instruments, valves and control systems; and large rotating equipment. Key to this role is an understanding of the nuance between systems and sites, as aftermarket and replacement equipment must be carefully selected to work with the existing system.

Once a customer inquiry is received and scoped, AMS will asses the equipment needed and cross- reference project files to ensure compatibility. You work with vendors to quote, purchase and ship the items, as well as manage customer invoicing and turnover to accounts receivable. The role entails customer-facing, internal, and vendor-facing obligations.

A successful candidate will have some Sourcing, Sales or Engineering experience in industrial organizations - and the ability to deal with multiple vendors, clients and priorities at one time. Time management, willingness to learn and a problem-solving attitude will go far.

  • Familiarity with SAP (or other enterprise resource planning software) and SalesForce.com (or other customer relationship management software)
