FM Account Engineer in BELLEVUE, Washington

FM is seeking an Account Engineer I to join the team based in the Bellevue, WA office. The Account Engineer coordinates and manages the global delivery of FM engineering products and services to our clients and is an integral member of the client service team. The Account Engineer develops a deep level of understanding about the client’s business, primarily through developing positive relationships at the highest levels of the client’s organization. This understanding is then used to help clients develop tailored strategies that mitigate property exposures in a way that supports their own objectives.

  • Manage the overall customer engineering relationship and consistently demonstrate the value-added differential of FM.

  • Accurately assess account-wide risk and clearly communicate conclusions and opinion on risk quality.

  • Develop, communicate, and execute effective strategies to achieve mutually agreeable risk improvement.

  • Acquire tangible risk improvement results in support of corporate objectives.

  • Understand and execute the Client Service Process and develop and maintain positive client relationships.

  • An experience level of at least Senior Consultant Engineer is preferred. Previous industry experience will be considered.

  • Excellent written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills, together with good cultural awareness.

  • Ability to work well in a team and as an individual, acting on your own initiative. Effective collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders (e.g. clients and broker partners) is essential to the Account Engineer role.

  • Proactive and decisive approach to problem solving, balancing the drive for results with a good attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in computer skills and basic knowledge of insurance concepts.

The hiring range is $92,800 to $131,800. These ranges are representative of the hiring salary for the role. The final salary offer will vary based on geographic location, individual education, skills, and experience.
