Access Control Manager Job ID: 13760 Location: Bellevue College Full/Part Time: Full Time Regular/Temporary: Regular Position Summary Under the direction of the Director of Public Safety, the Access Control Manager is responsible for the supervision and operations of the campus lock shop and access control systems for the college. The position serves as the primary college administrator in regard to all access control and key issuing software and processes. The incumbent will create, maintain, and audit records of key assignments for all forms of physical access for college personnel and contractors including but not limited to physical keys, access codes, and proximity cards. The Access Control Manager assists in the development of campus wide training, policies, and procedures as it pertains to building access control. This position supervises the Locksmith Supervisor and plans, assigns, and evaluates work performed relating to hardware, doors, building access control and security systems. The incumbent will work in conjunction with the Locksmith Supervisor in the construction, alteration, and repair of locking devices, digital locks, keying systems, and related buildings and facilities hardware and software. The incumbent will also work closely with the Campus Operations management and staff to coordinate, plan, and perform repairs and new installations of lock and lock systems. The incumbent is responsible for the oversight of making and issuing of physical keys, access codes, and proximity cards required for students, staff, faculty and other personnel in their use of, and access to college facilities. They are responsible for setting the master schedule for all electronic access-controlled spaces in accordance with the college schedule and needs. The Access Control Manager acts as liaison between and works with contractors for specifics on keying for contract work performed on remodels and new construction. They develop and conduct preventative maintenance programs on buildings and facilities. They assist in the development of the departmental budget and order materials and maintain an adequate inventory of required materials to facilitate the college's access control systems. Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule Position Salary Range: $67,669/year - $94,737/year The salary information shown above is a general guideline only.
