With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).A Technical Program Manager (TPM) in the Customer Intervention Support team is part of a high-performance team responsible for the New Product Introduction (NPI) of mobility products for 4G/5G solutions. The TPM interfaces with the customer at engineering and management levels. NPI spans activities in internal labs, customer labs and field environments.What you will learn and contribute toThe TPM will provide technical direction to an engineering team responsible for planning and execution of NPI testing in a customer lab environment. To successfully execute, the TPM will implement best practices, feedback project experience, interlock with different functions within Nokia, and drive internal teams to meet customer requirements. Are you passionate about solving problems?As part of our team, you will:Technically manage efforts in a customer lab for all LTE regression and new feature testing. This responsibility includes planning/assigning all LTE related test activities and guiding test engineers in test execution, troubleshooting, and presentation of results.Oversee technical team and interface with customer for planning, implementation and maintenance of lab test environment including test automation, test line planning, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Present or coordinate presentations to the customer for activity planning, status updates and results reviews. This includes leading formal engagements with customer for lab entry and lab exit reviews. Serve as the technical point of contact to R&D and NPI teams for investigating and prioritizing customer issues, ensuring fault corrections are delivered according to project needs.Provide NPI delivery leadership for tasks including resource forecasting, resource assignment, support for staffing decisions, NPI lab budget management, and project planning and tracking from lab entry thru lab exit.Your skills and experienceYou have:Minimum of 7-10 years technical experience with demonstrated background working in lab environment for execution of complex product testingIn depth knowledge of 4G/5G air interface and 4G/5G architecture that includes troubleshooting performance and stability issues.Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience interfacing with the customer at various levels of their organization.It would be nice if you also had:MS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline. Demonstrated technical and project management experience working on complex projects in a dynamic, high pressure, fast paced environment.Previous technical experience in a performance analysis, product troubleshooting, or new product introduction role for wireless infrastructure products. Previous test experience with Nokia product family.Self-motivated well-organized individual who can prioritize, multitask, and demonstrate goal-oriented decision making.Demonstrated experience as a successful team player with positive mindset, open minded and willingness to learn.What we off
