Job Title: Safety Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Manager for a specific project with an approximate duration of 4-6 months. This is a temporary assignment. The Safety Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that our employees return home safely every day. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that employees follow safety regulations and to supervise operations to promote their wellbeing.
Responsibilities
Conduct job site safety walks with field foremen and document findings
Perform equipment inspections
Document and initiate corrective actions for any unsafe practices identified
Collaborate with foremen to identify potential risks and hazards at job start-up and during ongoing operations
Investigate work site injuries or near misses
Create and document Site Specific Safety Plans
Conduct new hire safety orientations
Review construction contracts for safety requirements
Provide structured required training for field personnel in a classroom setting
Coordinate or facilitate CPR training
Assist and administer the Modified Duty Program
Assist in Sales Pre-Qualifications as it applies to safety
Update customer referral platforms related to safety
Maintain inventory of company safety supplies
Essential Skills
around 10 years of safety experience on a construction site
Proficiency in safety management and safety procedures
Knowledge of OSHA regulations
Experience in construction safety
Ability to conduct safety training
Work Environment
This position is primarily on-site at an industrial construction job site. The work environment includes both outdoor and indoor settings.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00
