Summary You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the COMPTROLLER DEPARTMENT of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR. Pay Scale: GS - 07: $54,896 - $71,366 per annum GS - 09: $67,147 - $87,291 per annum Responsibilities You will interpret standard organizational budgetary, accounting, or financial administrative procedures, practices, and regulations. You will plan and carry out assignments in conformance with accepted accounting, budget, or financial practices adhering to instructions, policies, and guidelines. You will monitor financial transactions and perform other duties to assure that procedures that identify reimbursable costs are carried out. You will assist with controlling and reporting obligations and expenditures. You will compile, analyze, and summarize financial and/or budget information related to assigned areas of a financial program. You will analyze, forecast, and interpret functions associated with the management and control of resources or funds. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications FOR GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-07) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing budgetary or accounting data, tracking funds for special programs, or processing actions pertaining to payroll, cash control or benefit systems to ensure any changes in program plans contribute to a cost effective and timely use of funds. FOR GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-05) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing automated financial systems to locate, compile, analyze, and summarize accounting, budgetary, or financial data to assist with budgetary or cost estimation formulation and preparation of financial summaries.
