West Sound Workforce is assisting a well-established self-storage company in sourcing a Mover Laborer to assist with an upcoming renovation project on Bainbridge Island. Serving the greater Kitsap community since 1981, this company is committed to putting kindness, community, and customer service first.
Reporting to the Project Manager, this role involves emptying storage units to allow contractors to replace the doors, then returning the contents to the original units. Ideal candidates will have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to commit to the entire project duration.
Shift Information:
- Full time, Monday-Friday
- Day shift
- 5 week duration
What you will do as Mover Laborer:
- Carefully move storage unit contents to a temporary location, ensuring all items are handled with care and attention to detail
- Utilize safe lifting techniques to prevent injury and ensure the safe transport of items
- Maintain organization and inventory of contents while in temporary storage to ensure accurate replacement
- Return contents to their original units, ensuring proper placement and condition of items

- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors
- Reliability and consistent attendance are essential
Physical stamina and ability to perform essential functions, including lifting and moving heavy objects safely
