As part of this team, participant will perform the role of a Systems and Data Analyst, working with a team that is currently supporting the Material Flow (Kitting processes) developing customer-facing software solutions to enable the creation of integrated kits for delivery to the point of use (mechanics and technicians) for our airplane programs. This position will provide support for the User Interviews, Requirements Definition, functional/regression testing, system implementation, and ongoing application support activities. Other duties include writing test scripts/user guides/functional specifications, and working with customers to understand, clarify and document requirements. The successful candidate will have strong communication, analytical, testing, research and technical writing skills.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist the software development team interpret the design specifications

  • Assist in maintaining the design specifications

  • Participate in application design, reviews and demos

  • Define and write test cases/scripts, establish test data, perform functional/regression testing to drive First Time Quality (FTQ)

  • Define and document implementation tasks and system maintenance documentation

  • Identify and recommend improvements to processes and/or applications

  • Investigate end user issues, determine if a Bug needs to be written to resolve the issue

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Previous experience working in development projects for supply chain systems / tools.

  • Minimum of 3 years Experience with relational databases (SQL Server or Oracle).

  • Experience with software development life-cycle and enterprise security best practices.

  • Experience with software testing at different levels, including component, configuration item, subsystem, integration/system, and acceptance testing.

Preferred Qualifications/Desired Skills (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • PLSQL – Ability to query a SQL Server database to troubleshoot issues or validate test results.

  • Ability to investigate and disposition Test Findings resulting from end-user testing.

  • Ability to work in small group setting and share responsibilities with other team members.

  • Software Development Life Cycle.

  • Must be able to solve complex problems independently and efficiently.

Typical Education/Experience: High school Diploma, Some College a plus.
