Job Description: We are looking for Press Assistants who will play a crucial role in our production process. The ideal candidates will have a keen eye for detail, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment. You will be responsible for assisting in machine setups, performing quality inspections, and ensuring the smooth operation of our press machines.
Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the setup, adjustment, and operation of press machines under the guidance of experienced operators - Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards - Complete and maintain quality documentation for all products - Move materials and components to designated areas to maintain stock levels- Accurately complete paperwork and label materials with required inventory information - Adhere to all safety protocols and operational standards
Key Skills and Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred) - Basic math and ruler reading skills - Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment is a plus - Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent hand-eye coordination - Ability to stand for extended periods and lift weights up to 50 pounds - Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality - Ability to work overtime as needed
