Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs minor manual touchup of primers and topcoats using paintbrush or similar tool.
- Selection, installation, and removal of masking materials.
- Verify Part counts against work order
- Ability to visually identify defects in workmanship regarding finishes, physical damage, and part identification.
- Meet Orion safety and quality system requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Maintain 6S and Lean manufacturing best practices.
- Utilize ERP system to document work movement.
- Process work within performance and delivery requirements:
- Meet established productivity standards.
- Follow communicated job priority instructions.
- Communicate production delays and problems to appropriate supervision.
- Support all members of the Manufacturing and Orion team fully to achieve company, departmental, and personal goals and objectives.
- Participate in team company meetings:
- Role model proper work ethics and behaviors.
- Role model proper hygiene and dress.

Requirements
- Must be able to work Monday - Thursday, 3:25 P.M. to 1:55 A.M.
- Basic understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings.
- Mathematical and measurement skills.
- Ability to interpret work instructions and specifications.
- Demonstrated shop math skills.
- Organizational ability.
- Problem solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collectively.
- Customer service skills; able to relate well to all internal and external customers.

- Occasional use of computer
