Outbound Material Coordinator

Location: Auburn, WA

Shift: 4AM-2:30PM Fri-Mon OR 4AM-4:30PM Fri-Sun

Pay: $23/Hour

Job Description

We are looking for an Outbound Material Coordinator who will be responsible for accurately inspecting raw materials and products using visual methods, gauges, scales, and other measurement instruments. The role involves segregating non-conforming parts or materials, completing necessary documentation, performing data entry, and conducting final inspections for outgoing shipments. The candidate may also need to identify causes of non-conformance.

Responsibilities

• Accurately inspect raw materials and products visually and with measurement instruments.

• Segregate non-conforming parts or materials.

• Complete required documentation for work performed.

• Perform data entry of work results into appropriate databases.

• Conduct final inspections to reconcile outgoing shipments.

• Identify causes of non-conformance when necessary.

• Meet all employee attributes and competencies as required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Some college courses or certificates in a Quality Assurance-related field of study.

• Prior experience using basic measurement instruments.

• Prior experience in a quality assurance inspection position.

Work Environment

The work environment is in an aerospace raw material (metals) supplier facility with titanium and aluminum. The shop floor includes CNC water jet machines, band saws, shear machines, and forklifts. The facility has 100 employees across 4 different shifts. The 3rd shift operates from 4 am to 4:30 pm on Friday through Sunday, and from 4 am to 2:30 pm on Friday through Monday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, Washington.

The pay range for this position is $23.25 - $23.25
