Description Position at ZonesPosition OverviewThe Director Product Management will be responsible for working with delivery team to provide end-to-end road-mapping, deployment, and change management related to our global enterprise platforms. The Director will work with multiple teams across the business, such as Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain, to develop a deep understanding of their needs and to deliver solutions that will have a significant impact on operational efficiencies and servicing effectiveness.Zones is a diverse technology company with over $2 billion USD in revenue and clients ranging from mid-market companies to Fortune 500 enterprises. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.The Director Product Management's primary responsibility is toStrategic and operational ownership of the global D365 project, planning and rolloutCreating, maintaining & communicating the roadmap for Global Enterprise SystemsSpearheading the application design and architecture process for ERP and CRMWeighing various approaches, in light of performance, stability and business value/impact and then determining the best course forwardSupervising DevOps related to the D365 projectsCollaborating with internal teams and Microsoft's cloud and D365 support teamsPerformance and appropriate/timely maintenance/upgradesOwning the overall initiative, including elements such as data migration design and execution, testing and deployment automation, code migration from on-premise AX 2012/CRM 2015 to D365.Managing third-party vendor relations pertaining to Enterprise Application Design/Testing/DevelopmentDriving operational excellence; highly scalable and reliable applications, excellent customer service, and efficient and agile operations measured with industry leading metricsClearly and proactively communicating project progress and issues to stakeholders, especially related to the impact of schedule changes, scope or deliveryEnsuring resources are available and engagedDriving platform adoption and building metrics for tracking business impactFormulating plans to communicate, train stakeholders, and implement approved changesEnsure all business teams are ready for the rollout of the global solution.Ensure the product is ready at launch and that it retains its innovative edge over its lifetime.Collaborate with Product Managers to identify needs and manage the "to-be" solution deployment.Assist with triage and prioritization of issues raised during implementation, provide post go-live operational support, and lead ongoing transformational initiatives.Generate reports and product documentation; orchestrate the creation and maintenance of internal and external stakeholder training.Ensure that departments are successfully adopting new processes and technologies.Enable teams to drive innovation and encourage use of the entire platform and its related technologies by promoting available functionality and exploring additional opportunities for improvement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and drive advanced offerings to improve business outcomes.Direct Product Managers in the creation and maintenance of roadmaps for enterprise software.We are seeking candidates with the following experience and skills:Who You Are:You are a
