Assistant Project Manager2359BRSalesRegularResponsible for the support of Accountand Project Managers with bidding projects, receiving quotations, creating Autoquote proposals, expediting orders and coordinating the delivery andinstallation of equipment to assigned projects on time and within budget whileproviding an exceptional level of customer service to our customers andvendors. Also responsible for maintaining positive business relationships withboth internal and external customers and vendors.ESSENTIAL DUTIES* Prepare estimates, proposals and compileSubmittal Books and Owner's Manuals for Customers.* Maintain accurate Project Files, track andschedule installation work details, and coordinate and track shipments.* Travels to job sites as assigned/as needed.* Assists with CAD demands as needed.* Transfer files between clients and architectsas directed by project managers.* Work with General Contractors and SubContractors to manage overall project coordination.* Coordinate and schedule demos/training andstart-up of equipment for new projects.* Assist in sales related activities asrequested.* Keep Project Managers and Regional and/or FEDNational Account Manager informed of activities and/or problems within assignedarea of responsibility.* Refer matters beyond limits of authority toappropriate parties in a timely manner* Fulfill administrative reporting requirements.* Perform other duties as assigned.External QualificationsRequired: High School Diploma or GEDequivalent plus a minimum of three years of food service industry experienceand/or other construction project support experience OR equivalent combinationof education and applicable experience. Ability to read blueprints and otherconstruction documents. Ability to estimate projects and proposalsindependently. Abilityto manage project effectively and efficiently. Advanced proficiency withMicrosoft Office products (specifically Excel, Word, and Powerpoint). Stronganalytical, organizational skills and the ability to problem solve, multitask, prioritizeand work independently.
