Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
We are a world-class leader in designing, building, and manufacturing aerospace structures, systems, and components for commercial, business, regional, and military aerospace customers. As an Assembler, you will perform tasks such as drilling and deburring parts in preparation for assembly, attaching component parts together by installing ground studs, nut plates, or bonding, and using hand/pneumatic tools and measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers. You will also work with riveting and countersinking, all while following aerospace blueprints and schematics. We value candidates with a mechanical experience, a good work ethic, and a strong drive to learn.
Responsibilities
Perform pre-assembly tasks such as drilling and deburring parts.
Assemble component parts by installing ground studs, attaching nut plates, or bonding.
Use hand and pneumatic tools for assembly work.
Utilize measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
Perform riveting and countersinking tasks.
Work from aerospace blueprints and schematics.
Essential Skills
Prior aerospace assembly experience.
Experience with sheet metal.
Proficiency in countersinking and squeezing.
Mechanical inclination.
Experience using measuring tools like calipers, shim gauges, and height gauges.
Ability to read and understand work instructions and blueprints.
Experience using hand tools.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to read and speak English.

Work Environment
You will work in a clean manufacturing shop that deals with steel and sheet metal to manufacture parts. The environment can be heavy and loud but is well-organized. The initial start time for the first few days is 7:00 AM, with regular start times to be confirmed.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, Washington.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00
