Advanced Technology Executives collaborate with Engineers, Solution Architects and Software Licensing Sales Executives to develop deep, value add technology solutions for their customers. With a proven record of accomplishment of selling technology solutions (storage, servers, software and professional services) to major customers, our Account Executives are trusted partners who manage deep account relationships, develop strategic sales plans and thrive on driving results.This is a remote position - we prefer this person to be based in Detroit or surrounding area. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions..and.nbsp;The Advanced Technology Executive is primarily responsible for:Building relationships within an assigned region in person and selling Zones Life Cycle Information technology solutions to clientsDriving profitably and developing target accounts in partnership with Inside account executives assigned to portfoliosProviding in-depth customer technology roadmaps and client account strategies; and collaboratively working with field account executives to uncover new sales opportunitiesDeveloping partnerships with OEM Field Sales Representatives and optimizing joint selling opportunitiesBuilding market awareness of Zones' global capabilities and Diversity status through participation in local/regional industry events, organizations and affiliations.and.nbsp;We are seeking candidates with the following experience and skills:Education:BA PreferredRequired Experience:5+ years of experience in Field-based life-cycle information technology solutions sales7+ years required of industry experience in a business development and/or direct quota driven sales roleValue added reseller preferredDeep understanding of technologies that drive Zones solutions such as:Data CenterUnified CommunicationsSecurityIOTCloud and/or MobilitySolid "in territory" relationships with partners such as Cisco, EMC, HP, Microsoft, AWS preferredProven record of successfully hunting and acquiring new Enterprise size business working with the C- level executivesExperience teaming collaboratively with a field account executive in a high-volume and fast- paced professional environment preferred.and.nbsp;Technology Focus .and.amp; RequirementsFamiliarity with a CRM System for strategic pipeline management preferredZones offers a comprehensive Benefits package.and.nbsp;While we're committed to providing top-tier solutions, we're just as committed to supporting our own team.
