As part of a small team, you will perform Warehousing Operations for materials and components. This includes processing receipts from Purchase Orders, improving warehouse capacity, responsibility for shipment of all commodities and aerospace hardware to support internal and external customer requirements. Must support equipment to internal test sites. You will also process the receipt and storage of non-production supplies. Candidate must be a proactive, individual with excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills who thrive in a fast paced environment. Passion for our mission and vision is required! Responsibilities: Executing daily part shipments including all in-bound and select outbound activity. Loading and unloading of trucks in all type of weather conditions Work within Logistics team to identify and resolve discrepancies through teamwork. Working with personnel to facilitate any special or urgent requirements. Work with team to improve and develop systems for process improvements Providing back up support for all logistics and receiving functions Seeing opportunities for improvement in Supply Chain Organization Process Purchase Order Receipts to include resolution of discrepancies with Supply Chain Management Maintain systems and processes for routing and distribution of indirect material purchases Identifying inefficiencies and present opportunities for improvement within warehouse operations Advance any non-compliance of company process Ability to learn our evolving processes Other duties as needed Qualifications: A minimum of 1 years inventory control experience including handling, inventory and handling of upbeat systems, hazardous waste materials and raw metals Experience in Logistics, Transportation, and Shipping aerospace hardware Experience with Shipping Department functions which include material handling, packaging critical aerospace hardware, hazardous materials, and raw materials including metals. Skills including calculating weights and dimensions using accurate tools and methodologies Analytical skills to define problems, collect appropriate and relevant data, establish facts, and draw reasonable conclusions Ability to safely drive a forklift and perform acute work A demeanor of best-in-class quality, attention to detail, and dedication Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
