CASCADE SURVEYING Land Use Planner in ARLINGTON, Washington
Cascade Surveying & Engineering, Inc. is a respected firm specializing in land surveying, civil engineering and land use planning in Washington for over 50 years. We are looking for a dedicated, self-motivated Land Use Planner to join our team in Arlington, WA. Qualified individual will work together with team of surveyors, engineers and local jurisdictions in the preparation and submittal of land use and construction permit applications, boundary line adjustments surveys and short plats. Requirements:
- College degree or technical certification in land use planning, engineering, surveying, or related field
- Knowledge of and ability to use local and state code as it applies to zoning, environmental codes and comprehensive plans
- Ability to interpret and write legal descriptions
- Must have familiarity with site planning, land development, permit processing, and land use planning
- Ability to prioritize a diverse workload, complete tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to write and communicate at a professional level
- Must have the ability to perform comprehensive research, analyze impacts, and summarize key issues in writing
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and other software as appropriate
