UnitedHealth Group Dispensing Audiologist - The Everett Clinic, Everett, WA in Arlington, Washington
As a part of Optum, the largest network of medical groups in the country, The Everett Clinic is seeking an experienced Audiologist to oversee daily operations and ensure the delivery of quality care and services to our patients at the Hearing Aid Center in Everett, WA. You will be working closely with providers while performing diagnostic services which include assessing and treating persons with hearing and related disorders. Position Highlights
Provide quality care and aftercare of dispensing services such as hearing tests, hearing aid fittings, education, and best practices
Routine diagnostic audiology and patient counseling
Make recommendation for hearing aids, fit and dispense hearing aids and conduct appropriate follow up
Maintain a working knowledge of current hearing aid technology
Maintain a fully stocked lab that will be equipped with supplies and spare parts that will allow minor in-office hearing aid repairs
Ensure all equipment is calibrated annually
Stay current with new technology
Place orders for hearing aid and accessory
Perform ear impressions for orders or for HPD’s
Knowledgeable of all insurance plans for coverage

Required Qualifications:
Doctoral Degree in Audiology (Au.D or Ph.D)
Unrestricted WA state Audiology license
1+ year of experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledgeable of current hearing aid technology.
Experience with pediatrics
Experience with VNG
Membership in American Academy of Audiology or American Speech Hearing and Language Association.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience working with insurance plans for coverage.

Washington Residents Only: The hourly range for Washington residents is $32.60 to $63.99.
