Basic FunctionHF Sinclair located in Anacortes, Washington is seeking a Turnaround Logistics Coordinator. This position is responsible for all logistics and material coordination associated with site turnaround activities, including planning and execution phases.Job DutiesDevelop and maintain event Logistics Plan(s)Support development of event estimates by compiling costs for logistics-related material and servicesDevelop plan for safe and efficient temporary housing (see Housing), safe/efficient site entry/exit, and pedestrian walkwaysPlan and coordinate craft safety recognition activitiesManage contractor rental equipment, acting as liaison between all turnaround contractors and site's preferred supplier of rental equipmentWorking with event planner(s), develop material delivery & laydown planDevelop and support temporary fabrication areas as necessaryDevelop vehicle traffic and parking plans based on the size of the eventBased on size of the event, develop appropriate housing plan for entire execution organizationCoordinate utilities (power, IT, heat/AC, etc.) installation to support schedule and user needsCoordinate temporary MOC's as necessary to enable occupation of housingCritical member of decon team, ensuring required decon material and equipment are onsite and available to support installation scheduleDevelop plan for rental radios, acting as liaison between communications contractor and usersSupport inventorying, initial issuance, and return receipt of all rental radiosFocal point for onsite safety equipment supplierCoordinate gas testers, fresh air equipment, personnel retrieval systems, etc. to ensure proper quantities on hand and management system appropriate to eliminate delays to workDevelop plan with site waste engineer to ensure proper classification, temporary storage, and disposal of waste materialAs workload allows, support logistics activities for Maintenance and Projects Construction groupsSpecial assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from timeto time in their sole and complete discretion.ExperienceA minimum of 3 years of process plant turnaround logistics related experience is required. A minimum of 10 years in process plant Maintenance/Turnaround/Projects support is required.Preferred Experience: Knowledge and experience in process plant personal safety support is preferred.Education LevelA minimum of a High School Diploma is required.Required SkillsMust have Microsoft Office skills including knowledge in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to effectively communicate with others, btoh written and verbal communication, ability to perfrom intermediate mathematical calculations, decision making and problem solving skills; ability to read and interpret drawings, instructions, procedures, rules and regulations. Self-starter, team-player and able to work in a multi-craft environment. Computer literate. Ability to read manuals and interpret technical instructions; comprehend and follow verbal instructions; follow rules and regulations, both job and safety related, and make accurate calculations. Advanced ability to adjust to changing conditions in the work environment, maintain composure during highly stressful/emergency situations, and recognize personal limitations and seek help when needed. Intermediate reading and writing skills.Supervisory/Managerial ResponsibilityMay lead the work of contractors.Work ConditionsOffice based with up to 15% travel by land and air required. Petroleum refinery, warehouse/plant environment, and out-of-doors environment including but not limited to chemicals, pressure vessels, tanks, and rotating equipment.
