T BAILEY, INC. Quality Control Inspector Trainee in ANACORTES, Washington
T BAILEY is looking for a Quality Control Inspector Trainee to join our team in Anacortes, Washington. This is an entry level position into the Quality Control department and would be a good fit for an individual that has a passion for the steel fabrication industry and the goal of becoming an inspector. The majority of the job functions of this position will be related to Processes: The daily processes of performing quality control and creating related reports. Provide assistance to a Certified Inspector with fabrication inspections of welds and materials. This position will work with supervision to identify non-conformances and assist in the follow-up.
Tasks of the job:
- Monitor workstations
- Perform incoming inspections when required
- Perform dimensional inspections
- Create written records of inspection
- Communicate with shop
Qualifications:
- 2 - 3 years fabrication or quality experience with emphasis in Welding Operations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
- Good verbal and written communication
- Blueprint reading of fabrication drawings
- Familiar with measuring devices
