Our client, a leading food production facility, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive approach to maintenance which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic - Day and Swing Shifts Available

Location: Anacortes, WA

Pay Range: $22.63-$40.32

Hours:6:00am-3:00pm and 3:00pm-12:00am (you can only work 1 shift) 4 current openings.

What's the Job?

• Observe mechanical devices in operation and listen to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.

• Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.

• Inspect and repair or replace defective parts to ensure machinery operates efficiently.

• Set up and operate metalworking tools to make and repair parts as needed.

• Follow plant food safety policies and industry best practices to maintain a safe working environment.

What's Needed?

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in production maintenance.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and bagging machines.

• Ability to operate a variety of hand tools, including welding machines and power tools.

• Strong communication skills and ability to troubleshoot diverse breakdowns.
