ManpowerGroup Maintenance Mechanic in Anacortes, Washington
Our client, a leading food production facility, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive approach to maintenance which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic - Day and Swing Shifts Available
Location: Anacortes, WA
Pay Range: $22.63-$40.32
Hours:6:00am-3:00pm and 3:00pm-12:00am (you can only work 1 shift) 4 current openings.
What's the Job?
Observe mechanical devices in operation and listen to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
Inspect and repair or replace defective parts to ensure machinery operates efficiently.
Set up and operate metalworking tools to make and repair parts as needed.
Follow plant food safety policies and industry best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
What's Needed?
A minimum of 1 year of experience in production maintenance.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and bagging machines.
Ability to operate a variety of hand tools, including welding machines and power tools.
Strong communication skills and ability to troubleshoot diverse breakdowns.
