Anacortes Food Coop General Manager in Anacortes, Washington

The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team and managing the daily operation of a grocery-related business. They will be responsible for maintaining the standard of work from employees and increasing sales and membership.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to a team of people
  • Manage operations and finances of Food Coop and report to board of directors
  • Work with board of directors to develop policy and procedures
  • Train and supervise employees, using collaborative principles
  • Provide for a product mix that meets members' needs and mission of the Coop

Qualifications

  • Management and Customer Service experience
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, open-minded
  • Ability to work with budgets, payroll, revenue and forecasting
  • Strong communications skills
  • Retail experience
