Maintenance Technician (Night Shift)

DIRECT PLACEMENT

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team during the night shift. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of production equipment, ensuring all tasks are performed safely and efficiently according to established procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair a variety of manufacturing equipment, including motor controls, DC/AC drives, frying equipment, temperature instrumentation, burner systems, packaging machines, electronic scales, and programmable logic controllers.

  • Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and machine repairs as needed.

  • Coordinate and execute the installation and wiring of manufacturing equipment such as pumps, fans, blowers, and relay panels.

  • Prepare, coordinate, and implement preventative maintenance procedures.

  • Detect faulty operations and defective materials, documenting and reporting unusual findings to supervision.

  • Ensure compliance with all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in reading and using an ohmmeter, ammeter, voltmeter, and multimeter.

  • Ability to understand and learn GMP standards.

  • Experience in PLC troubleshooting.

  • Comfortable working with electrical systems operating at voltages between 24-480 volts.

  • Basic computer skills and possession of a fundamental tool set.

  • A minimum of three years of experience in electrical, mechanical, or electronic applications (education or professional).

  • Must not have a fear of heights and should be comfortable working at elevations up to 30 feet.

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics.

  • Must be able to lift objects up to 100 lbs and remain on feet for the majority of the work shift.

  • Experience performing preventative maintenance tasks, including greasing, lubricating, and changing bearings.
