Aerotek Welder Fitter Fabricator in Airway Heights, Washington

Job Title: Fitter

Job Description

As a Fitter, you will work from blueprints, perform fitting tasks, and run .045 and 1/16 Flux Core wire. You will also conduct numerous 5/16 fillet welds. WABO certification and extensive welding experience are required.

Responsibilities

  • Work from blueprints to perform fitting tasks.

  • Run .045 and 1/16 Flux Core wire.

  • Conduct 5/16 fillet welds.

  • Perform structural steel welding.

  • Execute Flux Core welding tasks.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in welding, specifically FCAW and Flux Core.

  • Ability to read blueprints.

  • Structural steel welding experience.

  • Ability to obtain a 2G FCAW WABO and AWS certification.

  • Capability to run .045 or 1/16th wire.

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • WABO certification.

  • AWS certification.

Work Environment

Work in a large shop environment with all welding performed indoors in open bays. The fabrication environment offers two shifts: Monday to Thursday from 5am to 3:30pm and from 3pm to 1:30am, operating on a 4x10 schedule.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
