Airway Heights, WA. Located less than 10 miles from downtown Spokane, and just 3 miles from the airport, Airway Heights is a small community offering quick access to both the great outdoors of the Pacific Northwest as well the big city in Spokane. Established almost 70 years ago, the town has grown to a population of roughly 6,500. Details& Responsibilities –

· Competitive Pay

· Flexible part-time schedule

o 8 hour shifts

o 1 day/week, flexible on which day

o No call or weekends

· Start Date – ASAP

· Credentialing Estimate – 1month

· Standard Optometry. As an optometrist with WADOC you will be providing care from the medical wing of WADOC’s facility. These facilities provide medical/dental/vision care to the inmates and are staffed by multiple primary care, mental health, dental, and optometry providers.

o Assess, diagnose, & treat multiple conditions. Within the scope of optometry.

o Collaborate with other providers. Work with other providers and medical assistants to ensure a high standard of care.

o Refer Patients. As needed,refer patients to off-site specialists.

o Low patient volume. Workload at WADOC is expected to be relatively light at about 7-10 PPD.

RequiredQualifications

· Active/Unrestricted WA Optometry License

· At least 1 year of experience

· BLS/ACLS (CPR) Certification
