U.S. Bank Student Lending Quality Analyst in SPOKANE, Washington

Individual must have the basic skills and competency to handle correspondence, procedures, audit functions, and security. This position will support current and new functions.

Job duties will include procedure reviews and updates; coordinate annual review and management of servicer correspondence; perform security access quality assurance to ensure we are meeting segregation of duties requirements; provide support to meet new data governance requirements by performing data integrity reviews on incoming monthly servicer reports, data entry, and links from reports to spreadsheets. In addition, the new employee will perform audit remediation, and verification of populations and documentation prior to routing to auditors, and serve as a departmental backup.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Creating/Updating Procedures.

  2. Audit remediation from Private and Federal Student Loan Transactional testing.

  3. Ensure data integrity of populations and documentation

  4. Quality Assurance reviews of security access setups and deletions including a Quarterly Access Review.

  5. Servicer correspondence coordination: maintain customer facing documents obtained from our third party vendors in a Sharepoint library (New letters, revised letters, deleted letters), submit for annual compliance reviews and provide for various audits as requested.

  6. Perform data integrity checks on incoming reports from Vendors, data entry review, and ensure accuracy verification of links from spreadsheets to reports.

  7. Respond to complaints.

  8. Security setups and deletions

  9. Monitor and take action on incoming departmental Emails received in the shared inbox

  10. Completes special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • One to two years of experience in quality analysis and measurement activities

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  1. Federal and Private Student Loan Product knowledge preferred, but not required

  2. Good written and verbal skills

  3. Experienced at Excel and Word

  4. Excellent analytical skills

  5. Self-motivated and the ability to work with little supervision
