Position Prospect Engagement Specialist Reports To OACTS Manager Department OA/CTS Department FLSA STATUS Non-Exempt



Primary Position Objectives Responsible for managing the prospects engagement system, which includes initial contact, screening of applicant eligibility, documentation and tracking of prospects, and assignment of those prospects to the appropriate admissions counselor. Will provide additional support services to the OA/CTS as assigned, in compliance with government and management directives.


Brief Description of Duties

  • Contact all prospects within 24 hours of assignment. Exhaust all efforts to engage prospect in the application process for 30 days, then conduct monthly contact up to 6 months after assignment
  • Screens for eligibility of all prospects and assist prospects in initial application process
  • Document all contacts, update prospect status, and assigned AC on the prospect engagement tracking system. The tracking system must be updated daily
  • Manage and assign prospects in OASIS or in the MyJobcorps system to the appropriate admissions counselor
  • Assists, as needed, in gathering applicant enrollment documentation
  • Arrange for and assist in providing pre-enrollment orientation, schedule tours of the center
  • Provides weekly and month updates on prospect engagement to include tracking prospect conversion rates
  • Support, promote, and enforce the Job Corps' Zero Tolerance Policy.
  • Promote the development of Career Success Standards by modeling appropriate behaviors, mentoring students where necessary and monitoring both positive and negative behaviors through interventions
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management
  • Travel as required

Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with advanced Microsoft Office applications including Word, Power Point and Excel


 


E perience Experience may include successful Job Corps outreach and admissions experience or successful outreach and admissions experience with other youth development programs
