The Strategy & Operations Senior will work on a variety of Business Consulting projects for clients primarily from the Public, Higher Education, Non-profit, and Tribal industries served by Moss Adams. This role’s focus will be on performance audits, financial scenario analysis, efficiency studies, process improvement reviews, and organization assessments.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform consulting activities that include conducting client interviews, reviewing documents, conducting best practice research, and preparing client deliverables such as findings, recommendations, and draft and final reports

  • Perform a variety of analysis, including data analysis and financial scenario modeling to assist clients in decision-making

  • Present deliverables to clients

  • Work collaboratively with clients to understand current business practices, identify opportunities for improvement, define new processes, and develop deliverables and financial models that meet the client’s needs

  • Support project start up activities, such as developing project work plans, budgets, and schedules, and attending kickoff meetings

  • Serves as an integral member of our Business Consulting Services team

  • Travels to client locations to work onsite and periodically attend industry conferences

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required\

  • MBA, MPA, or similar advanced degree preferred

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of related experience, preferably working with governments or not-for profits

  • Experience in performance audits, financial analysis, organizational assessments, program evaluation, and/or substantive quantitative analysis

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Able to understand problems, think critically, and identify creative solutions

  • Able to take direction, learn quickly, and work collaboratively as a self-directed professional to meet project objectives

  • Effective time management and organizational skills, proven ability to prioritize while simultaneously managing numerous projects/processes often under tight deadlines

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office

  • Ability to travel as needed, approximately 30%

Compensation Range (Denver Market ONLY): California State: $73,000 - $112,000; Colorado State: $68,000 - $93,000; Washington State: $68,000 - $98,000; Remote: $68,000 - $93,000
