Job Summary and Mission This position contributes to Starbucks success by being accountable to drive incremental sales while building brand equity by enhancing shopper marketing capabilities and best practices. It influences national brand strategies and promotions to ensure they translate into individual shopper marketing plans, while making certain that all plans and creative meet the voice of the brand. The sr. shopper marketing manager also creates and deploys processes, tools and partnerships to optimize planning and execution. Additionally, they drive key shopper marketing innovation concepts to be leveraged by individual customer teams. Summary of KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: * Responsible setting Shopper strategy for campaigns - translating brand initiatives into Shopper platforms for customer team application and influencing national marketing strategies, objectives, and promotional plans to ensure Shopper relevant campaigns and appropriate tools meet deadlines; Help address barriers and drive alignment on creative and resolves any creative disconnects on lead campaign. * Act as the key liaison between field shopper marketing managers and Brand Teams - ensuring alignment of the Brand and Shopper Marketing teams' needs, plans and creative * Create and lead key shopper marketing processes, tools, templates and shares best practices to optimize planning, execution and analysis of all programs. * May help set strategic allocation of SLF as part of Annual Operating Planning and is accountable for SLF accuracy across channels or multiple accounts * Provide coaching, counsel and mentorship to Field Shopper team, Brand team and agency partners while ensuring field the voice is translated back to the Starbucks Support Center (headquarters) on relevant customer needs and opportunities * Act as team SME and lead cross-functional strategic projects/teams that drive innovation and/or enhance Shopper efficiency and effectiveness - i.e. Learning plan, Signature Aisle, Licensed stores, SR integration, Hispanic testing, digital innovation, etc. * Serve as proxy for shopper marketing director * Own day to day management of national level agency relationship (team of 5+ people) by clearly defining scope, aligning processes and managing resources * Bring to life cutting edge shopper marketing practices, ground breaking concepts, platform ideas, technologies, etc. via alliances and partnerships with other best in class Shopper Marketing companies and vendors. Champion activation and manage test and learn plans * Ensure the development and execution of holistic & equity building shopper marketing plans at customers to help deliver our business goals and meet ROS thresholds. Manages account's Shopper Loyalty Fund budget to deliver programs that meet ROS thresholds and stay within stated budgets maximizing efficiency, accuracy and transparency. Responsible for developing, sharing and archiving post program reviews on all programs driving program optimization * Collaborate with key stakeholders (Account Execs, Team Lead, Category Development, Brand Teams, Retailer) to identify, align and prioritize common sales goals as well as joint business planning. * Develop strategic vision for innovation and emerging channels - Shopper Innovation, digital, Hispanic platform, eComm, Dollar, etc. Basic
