The WW Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) team is working to democratize entrepreneurship to enhance growing small businesses.

The WW FBA team’s mission is to support our Selling Partners by providing best in class experience for growing small businesses. We are optimizing online capabilities through channels enabing sellers to reach customers around the world.

The WW FBA team will deliver on this goal through concentrated efforts across critical aspects of Supply Chain, including Inbound and Placement, Inventory Management, Returns and Reimbursements, and Sell Success.

This role will be responsible for closely partnering with Product, Policy, and Program teams to work backwards from top business priorities in order to deliver data solutions and enable effective long term strategic decision making.

Key job responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of scalable BI solutions that are accurate and actionable.

• Own the design, development, and maintenance of metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc.

• Partner with operations/business/finance teams to discover, design and implement KPIs, to prototype and develop solutions that influence business strategy.

• Design and influence operational best practices for reporting and analytics to enable the team to scale as we grow our team’s data analytics capabilities

• Aggregate and analyze data from multiple sources and compile it into dashboards/ visualizations with metrics and insights.

• Develop new data models, data pipelines and data solutions leveraging AWS services and internal tools.

• Develop automated solutions to enhance existing reporting processes

A day in the life

A typical day in this role will entail collaboration between internal and external teams to understand business requirements, combined with self-owned actions to deliver on top business priorities. This role will entail aspects of Data Engineering, to create and maintain the teams required data infrastructure, and aspects of Business Intelligence Engineering, to work with partners and stakeholders (SCOT, SPS, Operations, FBA) to understand the business requirements, and determine the best way to effectively organize, report and leverage data to achieve the teams goals. This role will serve as a critical piece to the larger team’s by success across the team’s various workstreams including FBA Inbound, Placement, Inventory Management, Returns & Reimbursements, and Seller Success.

The WW FBA team works closely with Product, Policy, and Seller Support teams in order to achieve these goals. This role will work across all facets of the WW FBA team to enable the team to deliver on these goals.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience developing and presenting recommendations of new metrics allowing better understanding of the performance of the business

  • Knowledge of advanced skills in Excel as well as any data visualization tools like QuickSight or similar BI tools

  • Experience using SQL and/or languages like Python, Scala for data manipulation and automation

  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines

  • Master's degree in business, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift

  • Experience in data analysis, ETL, etc. and using data in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets

  • Experience operating large data warehouses

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $202,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
