Rokt US Corp Senior Software Engineer in Seattle, Washington
Rokt US Corp. requires Senior Software Engineer to perform commercial software development, including designing, building and operating distributed systems. Gather software product requirements, including the product's purpose, features, functionality, and behavior, from business and technical stakeholders. Utilize understanding of software product requirements to guide technical teams in the design of complex product features, including proposing possible software architecture strategies according to technical requirements specifications. Collaborate with fellow software development team members and other technical teams to build software libraries and frameworks. Design and build high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems. Utilize programming languages, such as Java, C#, Python, Javascript, or Go, to write performant, easy-to-maintain code using best practices. Design, develop, test, deploy and improve code that solves real-world problems. Monitor and administer CI/CD (continuous integration/continuous deployment) pipelines. Write build and deployment scripts. Automate software deployment, scaling, and the management of containerized software applications. Look through team members' source code and make suggestions for further code changes. Manage priorities, deadlines, deliverables and operate with autonomy in solving problems. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Science, Engineering or related and Five (5) years experience as a Software Engineer, ML/AI Platform Engineer, Full Stack Software Engineer, or related position. ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Alternatively employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Information Science, Engineering or related and * *Three (3) years experience as a Software Engineer, ML/AI Platform Engineer, Full Stack Software Engineer, or related position. SKILLS: The position requires (1) 3 years experience with at least two high level languages such as Python, Java, Go, Ruby & typescript; (2) 3 years experience with Distributed systems; (3) 3 years experience with cloud platforms such AWS/GCP/Azure; (4) 2 years full stack development experience; (5) 2 years experience with Kubernetes; (6) 2 years experience building CI/CD pipelines; and (7) 2 years experience monitoring and observing highly scaled cloud infrastructure.
