The Internship Experience
Principal will host 200 interns across various business units and teams. You will meet with senior executives, gain career direction, and contribute to work that helps our customers live their best lives - all at a Fortune 500 company who invests in your personal and professional development.
Edge Asset Management will host an undergrad intern during the Summer of 2018. During this internship, you will assist our investment, marketing, and operation teams. Your time with the investment team may include conducting fundamental research to assist in the identification of potential investments as well as industry and asset class research, financial modeling and valuation, and investment due diligence. In addition, you will aid in the development and production of marketing materials and assist with supporting the investment management and marketing operations including the evaluation of performance attribution.
Candidates must be a Principal Women in Asset Mangement Conference Attendee to be considered for this position.
Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, accounting or a related field and have at least one semester of coursework post summer 2018.
Students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 to be considered
Knowledge and interest of investments combined with excellent time management and organizational skills.
Advanced PC skills and proficiency with Excel required. Investment related software knowledge preferred. Exposure to Factset, Bloomberg, Barra1, Capital IQ, SQL, VBA, eVestment, etc. are a plus.
Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to work independently.
This position is a full-time (35-40 hours per week) paid internship in Seattle, Washington during the summer of 2018. Early hours may be required as business hours follow the US stock market and business need.
