Title: Research Assistant Job Class: Hourly/Non-Exempt; $23.32-$27.26/hour DOE PIs: David H. Au, MD, MS; Lucas Donovan, MD, MD; Laura Feemster, MD, MS Reports To: Margaret Collins At the Seattle Institute for Biomedical and Clinical Research (SIBCR), scientists seek new ways to improve the health and well-being of Veterans through research and education conducted at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System and Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center. Summary: The Clinical Research Assistant will work as a key team member on pulmonary studies based at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System Center of Innovation, including trials sponsored by the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) and the American Lung Association Airways Clinical Research Centers (ACRC) - see below for links to these studies. This position requires an individual who understands the principles of scientific investigation and clinical trials and is capable of in-depth understanding of the study protocol. The candidate must possess strong scientific, organizational, and interpersonal skills. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with potential for hybrid in-person/telework after training period.
