A Day in the Life…

  • Identifies process improvement opportunities and analyzes them for efficiency (waste, complexity, cost), effectiveness (achieves desired outcome), and quality

  • Clearly and effectively communicates findings and makes recommendations for improvement

  • Identifies root causes of problems and demonstrates the ability to provide recommendations for practical solutions

  • Works with process team leads to suggest solutions which may include some combination of process, organization, technology, and data improvements

  • Coordinates with internal business and strategy partners to ensure processes effectively and efficiently support corporate strategies and are used to drive and define strategic outcomes and KPI’s

  • Applies BPM (Business Process Management) methods to deliver improved customer experience and reduced operational costs

  • Identifies change impacts to business teams resulting from process design changes

You own this if you have…

  • 2-3 years in a supporting role and/or key contributor in business process improvement projects or similar

  • 1-2 years consulting industry experience preferred

  • 1-2 years supporting and/or coordinating project deliverables in a fast-pace and ever-evolving environment

  • Experience in various areas of retail and customer service

  • Bachelor’s degree related to the discipline of business process is desirable

  • Are familiar with process mapping and/or modeling tools - working knowledge of BPMN (Business Process Modeling Notation) mapping standard (a plus, but not required)

  • Have strong written and verbal communication / presentation skills – with varied audiences across the organization

  • Demonstrate collaboration and team-building skills – with cross-functional teams of business & IT leads
