We’re seeking a highly organized, proactive, and resourceful senior administrative assistant. This position will provide dedicated administrative support business operations. This person will effectively manage calendars with attention to accuracy, detail, and allocation of time and resources. They will handle confidential and non-routine information, exercise independent judgment and discretion in making decisions and carry out activities following general guidelines. The role will promote productivity and support execution of leader and team goals and objectives, help drive the rhythm of the business, share of best practices, and cascade communications. They must possess the ability to perform a high volume of tasks with limited direction, independently solve problems and take on projects to improve processes.

In addition to the responsibilities above, as a senior administrative assistant, you will partner closely with the senior executive assistant to…

  • Plan and support all logistics of department-wide meetings and events.

  • Design and maintain SharePoint sites.

  • Manage department email distribution lists, organizational charts, and conference rooms.

  • Work with Facilities department in planning and organizing team space and serve as a primary contact.

  • Provide administrative coverage to department administrative staff.

  • Develop an understanding of Starbucks systems and culture, the business model and team structure to enable support to their leader and teams, as well as direct requests appropriately.

  • Be a trusted team member.

  • Technology - proficient with Microsoft Office 365 and virtual tools, Excel, and advanced PowerPoint skills, and have a good understanding of modern technology and enjoy learning new technologies.

  • Time Management - able to balance multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Progressive administrative experience and/or Starbucks store experience (5+ years)

  • Experience managing calendars and email on MS Outlook (5+ years)

  • Project or event management (5+ years)

  • Fast-paced environment (5+ years)
