The Production Planning job family is responsible for planning, scheduling, and organizing the efficient maintenance, operation and performance of work assignments. Coordinates with various departments to achieve optimum utilization of operations and maintenance resources to effectively achieve production improvements through usage of industry standard methodologies
This position shall be performed under the day-to-day direction, control and supervision of WTCC.
Develop mechanical equipment work packages, work instructions, and procedures to support maintenance work activities including pre-planning, material staging requisitioning/expediting, and labor estimating.
Monitors assignments to ensure that they are within the agreed scope and that the work is being performed within outlined policies and expectations.
Coordinates timely development and release of work packages, task requests, and work orders to support the operations/maintenance / Startup Testing schedule.
Ensures work orders are in compliance with project directive documents.
Assists in the determination of work priority, and establishes workflow processes that support work control management and Operations goals.
Periodically reviews work performed for attainment objectives, policy compliance and priorities, effective coordination, technical adequacy and responsiveness to established guidelines.
Integrates maintenance and operations that are in compliance with company policies, client requirements, and governmental regulations.
Ensures all safety and environmental guidelines are followed without deviation.
May be required to complete other assignments in order to support Construction, Start-up, and Plant Operations departments as necessary to meet evolving WTP Project needs.
Must achieve qualification within 6 months of assignment.
May be required to act as an On the Job Trainer/Mentor for the WTP Operations Maintenance organization personnel.

AECOM has joined with Bechtel to create an LLC, known as the Waste Treatment Completion Company (WTCC) to construct, start-up and commission the world’s largest radioactive-waste treatment plant for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) in southeastern Washington state. The project will use vitrification technology to process and stabilize 53 million gallons of radioactive and chemical waste currently stored at the Hanford Site which is a byproduct of plutonium-production during World War II and the Cold War era.
The project is the largest undertaking of its kind ever and one of DOE’s most technically challenging cleanup projects—equivalent to building two nuclear power plants. Its construction site spans 65 acres and includes facilities for pretreatment, low-activity waste vitrification, and high-level waste vitrification, as well as an analytical laboratory.
Education/Experience: Associate’s degree and 4 years experience, 2-year degree/certificate for InstrumentationandAutomationTechnology and 4 years of experience,
Experience: Production experience, including a thorough knowledge of Instrumentation andControlsequipment maintenance and operating activities, such as steam, water and air production systems,remotelyoperated equipment, troubleshooting, corrective or preventive maintenance, materials, production processesandengineering. Excellent technical writing/editing and verbal communication skills are required. Planning experienceinthe DOE / ISMS / VPP environment is preferred, but notrequired .
Must achieve qualification within 6 months of assignment
Must be able to work in the United States without Sponsorship
