Our client, a leading engineering and construction firm seeks a passionate Electrical Systems Engineer to join their team at a groundbreaking environmental cleanup project. Play a pivotal role in designing a first-of-its-kind facility dedicated to a cleaner future.

Job Title: Electrical Systems Engineer

Location: Richland, WA

Pay Range: $ 37-40/hr

What’s the Job?

  • Provide innovative electrical systems and equipment designs for the entire facility.

  • Utilize ETAP software extensively, potentially using additional specialized tools for high-level waste design.

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of various engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and system descriptions.

  • Perform calculations, studies, and equipment/cable sizing.

  • Interpret and apply codes, standards, and client requirements to design documents and specifications.

  • Manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (9 years experience) or Master's degree (7 years experience).

  • Experience with electrical systems, schematics, and equipment layouts.

  • Experience with electrical equipment specifications, material requisitions, and procurement documentation.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with ETAP and similar design tools (CAD, cable software).

  • Experience with an electronic Cable Management System.

  • US Citizenship (mandatory).
