Who are we looking for?

Azure Search is not only a cool technology, but also a fast-growing business. The Azure Search Portal is our main tool for educating potential customers about the power of the service and enabling existing customers to use it effectively. We are looking for an exceptional UX developer to take the Azure Search experience in the Azure Portal to the next level. Be prepared to take ownership and put on your business hat - we are a small and diverse team that welcomes input from all members. Your insights will have the potential to impact the product beyond just the design of our UI.

What do you need to apply?

• Experience building UI in production using JavaScript or TypeScript

• Strong sense of design and an ease-of-use mindset

• Passion for creating simple and functional UX

• Interest in working on the intersection of information retrieval, machine-learning, large-scale cloud services, big data and developer experiences

• Be comfortable communicating with customers directly through various mediums such as blogs, articles, Twitter, etc.

• Experience with Knockout, React and Redux (not required)

• Excellent coding skills, including server side language experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
