The Identity organization within the Cloud + Enterprise (C+E) group is driving the innovation in both cloud and on premises software development providing identity management, authentication and authorization support for Microsoft business critical systems like Office 365 and Azure as well as 3rd party application ecosystem. Our team operates within the Identity to deliver Azure Active Directory (AAD), unified security token services to enable login and single-sign on (SSO) experiences.

Our team is looking for a strong engineer with passion for server-side development to work on a very business critical goal and a challenging technical problem of converging two large scale identity platforms in Microsoft - Azure Active Directory (AAD, login.microsoftonline.com) and Access Control Service (ACS, accesscontrol.windows.net). In addition, we are working to expand AAD’s capabilities to include new federation relationships with external Identity Providers such as Google and LinkedIn. The login is a user’s first interaction within any application, and we strive to make a positive first impression. Today, the services handle tens of billions of authentication requests per week for both first and third-party applications. In doing so, they must be performant, scalable, and highly available.

Ideal candidate would have prior experience in:

•Web service technologies (e.g. ASP.NET, MVC, WCF)

•Database technologies (e.g. ADO.NET, ODATA, T-SQL)

•Windows Azure services (e.g. Fabric, Storage, SQL)

•Authentication concepts

Qualifications:

•BS in Computer Science or 2 years equivalent intern/industry experience.

•2+ years of professional development experience (C#/C++) in hands-on coding.

•Great problem-solving skills.

•Experience with web services a plus.

•Passion for the customer and solving complex problems to their satisfaction, advocacy for modern agile engineering practices
