Microsoft Corporation HR Program Manager in Redmond, Washington

The Field, Segments, Marketing, Corp Strategy, Services Engineering and Operations, CTO HR organization has a unique opportunity for someone to leverage and build on their great administrative, analytical, and project management skills, while gaining an end to end view of running HR programs across five global organizations.

We are seeking someone with strong program management skills to join the Business Management team as an HR Program Manager to help deliver key HR programs and HR ROB related items. This is an excellent opportunity for an early in career program manager looking to enter the HR profession. This role requires someone with strong planning and analytical skills, who is curious about learning and trying new approaches, and who wants to expand their experiences and develop new proficiencies in a very fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

This role reports to and works closely with the Business Manager to support the implementation and communication of key HR Programs such as Connects, MS Poll, Rewards, Special Stock Awards, Quarterly Promotions, Partner Requests, and Quarterly HR Awards, to name a few. Responsibilities will range from providing reporting and updates on some programs, to leading programs.

This role will also liaise with COE partners to both share what is happening in organizations and to support the COE in developing tools and concepts that will be used across the organization. This can involve User Testing for new tools, as well as sharing feedback from across the teams. It is also a great opportunity to work with the HR Manager, HR Business Manager, and HR Associate communities across all five organizations, as well as build strong relationships with our partners in the Centers of Excellence.

This role will also have HR administrative support responsibilities for the business management office of the CVP of HR. This work will range from monthly and ad hoc reporting, to HR transactions, and preparation of data or presentation decks for key meetings, as well as input into the overall ROB.

Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years HR administrative or coordinator role with program management experience

Strong focus on execution excellence, attention to detail, and ability to drive multiple streams of work forward

Demonstrated competency in the areas of Cross Group Collaboration, Organizational Agility, Analytical Thinking and Communication skills.

Must be able to work effectively under pressure, with multiple deliverables, in short time constraints.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with senior stakeholders

Strong organizational skills, a customer service orientation and excellent execution and follow through skills

Strong working knowledge of Excel and Power Point
