If so, this Group Finance Manager position is for you. This role will support the Productivity team in the WCB Specialist Sales organization with a focus on world-class BI and the goal to identify opportunities for growth for several key products in the Modern Workspace like Office 365 and Microsoft 365. You will be directly responsible for driving all financial planning and strategy discussions for our Productivity business as well as supporting critical financial operations such as SLT review, target setting and compensation plan design. Next to that, you will engage in a variety of projects and drive analysis aimed at identifying key areas of opportunity and growth for the Worldwide Commercial Business. This role also engages with Engineering Group Finance and Field Finance teams across the globe.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic and trusted advisor to the GM Productivity and their team

  • Deliver excellent financial support to specific businesses like Office365 and Microsoft 365 to drive significant Revenue Growth and Profitability Improvements

  • Work closely with business leaders to deeply understand all aspects of the business, like market trends, product roadmaps, competitive developments, Customer Lifetime Value, etc.

  • Drive the monthly rhythm of business (ROB) process incl. preparation for WCB Reviews and SLT

  • Provide forward looking analysis incl. pipeline management to identify key areas of opportunities and risks

  • Perform routine and ad hoc financial analyses as well as benchmarking for the leadership team on key topics with a strong focus on investments and ROI

  • Collaborate with finance peers in the field and Engineering Groups to ensure efficiency in scaling practices, tools, analyses and be an evangelist for the business by educating other finance teams on product insights and analysis

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in Finance or Economics; MBA preferred

  • 10+ years related work experience including leadership positions

  • Impact & Influence: Ability to collaborate and coordinate multiple stakeholders is critical. Must be able to effectively partner with and influence key stakeholders

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment

  • Passion for technology and curious to further learn the how and why behind the numbers

  • Ability to drive simplicity within a complex and matrixed environment

  • Excellent communication, cross group collaboration and interpersonal skills, able to simplify complicated material in executive-ready manner.

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, accurate

  • Expert skills required in MS Excel, Power Pivot, Power View; MS Finance tools like MSRA preferred
