The Education team is currently seeking a passionate Design Researcher to come be a part of our cross-discipline Customer Insights and Data group. The goal is to foster a data-driven culture; to encourage and enable the entire organization to make more informed decisions through data - and design research is a large part of that equation. The EDU team is planning for rapid growth over the next few years and beyond, and we're looking for an individual to come ensure the solutions we're offering our customers are ground-breaking, but also grounded in smart and thoughtful research and insight. In this role, you will be part of an interdisciplinary research, design, and engineering team to define, and ultimately deliver the next generation of experiences for Education. As a Design Researcher on the team, you will have the opportunity to employ a wide range of research methodologies such as contributing to design jams/charrettes, prototype generation and testing, field and lab studies, surveys, experimentation and telemetry, heuristics, concept valuation work, insight generation and more, as well as to be an integral part of the creative and planning process.

5+ years of experience in user research
1+ years of experience in design or UX research
A minimum of 5 years of industry experience in user research with a proven track record of success
Thorough knowledge and experience across a range of UX research approaches and methodologies
Strong analytical and synthesis skills with a proven ability to turn research results into product insights
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Track record of collaborating across disciplines (design, engineering) to drive change into products.
Proven ability to work within tight timelines and with excellent project management skills.
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
Familiarity with a broad range of design research methods - especially agile methods.
