Summary of Duties
This position provides administrative, operational and fiscal support to the administrative manager and professional staff. Specifically, this position prepares grant proposals, manages TEMPS appointment processes, provides back up support for PEARS, provides complex fiscal administrative services for service center billing, budget analysis, faculty search process support, and ensures compliance with university policies and procedures related to fiscal matters. This position serves as one of the primary points of contact for other offices and clients related to grant proposals, student appointments, service center billing, and faculty searches; prepares department documents and reports; and for a variety of other program-specific, complex fiscal and administrative support duties.

Two years of experience at a level equivalent to Fiscal Specialist 1 AND 15 quarter hours OR 10 semester hours of college level accounting; OR equivalent education/experience.
Familiarity with all MS Office products, Filemaker Pro, and Business Objects. Experience with AIS applications. Experience with ZZUSIS, PERMS and AIS systems. Experience working with hiring, personnel, payroll documents and administrative fiscal processes. Experience with creating and maintaining financial databases.
