Custodian 2 Available Title(s): 678J-YNCSNPS - Custodian 2 Business Title: Custodian 2 Employee Type: Classified Time Type: Full time Position Term: 12 Month Position Details: Summary of Duties: Under the supervision of the Custodian Supervisor for the Compton Union Building, responsible for custodial duties within assigned area. Performs various housekeeping, custodial and maintenance related tasks to ensure and maintain cleanliness of facility. Example of a weekly schedule is Sunday - Thursday 2 pm - 10:30 pm. Required Qualifications: • The ability to do required work, the ability to read and write AND six months experience in custodial, general or building maintenance, grounds keeping, or semi-skilled carpentry, electrical and/or plumbing repair work; OR equivalent education/experience. • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends Preferred Qualifications: • Possession of, or ability to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver's license.
